Treasurer’s report
Event Brite came through at $798
Jill Menga was reimbursed for basket at Mark Weakling event - $62.99
No reports from President-elect, Vice-president, or corresponding secretary
Emily Reed – Act 48 credits have been sent from Close Reading event
Megan Miller - Literacy Advocacy – Pennies for Pre K
Margie Booze - Newsletter – articles are due on 4-18
Emily Reed – Community Service – Love to Learn Event, Summer Library Kick-off (later in agenda)

Author Event to be put on Event Brite
Who will work registration table, membership table, raffle table?
Emily Reed – membership table
Stacey McBride/Margie Booze – registration table
Megan Miller – raffle table
Chartable Donation possibilities for May event: Project Linus, Leg Up Farm, United Way, York County Literacy Council
To be put on a ballet
Amy Dove to present the Celebrate Literacy Award. The recipient will get a free membership.
Mail Chimp email sent to nominate the next Celebrate Literacy Award for next year.
Emily Reed - Community Service
Read Out and Read book collection bins have been brought to the meeting. The Reach Out and Read coordinator has retired and has not been replaced. We are waiting to hear about a date for our visit to donate. Names to attend: Melissa Graver, Jami Smith, Katie Beauchat, Megan Miller, (possibly Stacey McBride).
Love to Learn event flyer was passed out to be shared at your buildings.
Summer Library Kick-Off (June 4th from 10-1) at Dover Community Center.
Summer Library Check-In Codorus (spelling?) State Park July 16th
Awards for Council (steps and forms to fill out) packets were passed out
Exemplary Council Award, President’s Leadership Award

Close reading event share:
Jami – has been in contact with presenter and is pleased with responses
Region IV Leadership Meeting (Margie Booze)
Get together to schedule 16-17 events to ensure that events differ at Board of Director’s Meeting
July 1st – new regional coordinator is Patty Sollenberger (spelling?)
Find our council on Facebook and Twitter
Council office report is due April 15th
Send information about events to Michael Williams (to put in for Community Engagement Award)
KSRA conference is in Seven Springs (Oct. 16)
We can’t use ILA logo (only affiliated with ILA)
Membership Report – Emily Bentzel added addresses and ILA numbers for 2016-2017 Council Officers
Celebrate Literacy Award – Amy Dove to present award at May event
Melissa Graver – planning for next year’s events
